Swipe2Clear ("we," "our," or "us") is a gallery cleanup application that helps users organize, review, and delete unwanted photos directly from their device using swipe-based interactions.
1. Information We Access
To deliver core gallery management functionality, Swipe2Clear may request access to photos and media files stored on your device, along with device storage permissions required for organizing and deleting selected media.
This access is used solely to enable you to view, organize, and delete photos within the app. We do not access or read any other data on your device.
2. On-Device Processing
Swipe2Clear is built with a privacy-first architecture. All photo processing happens entirely on your device. We do not:
- Upload your photos to any external server
- Store your images in the cloud
- Remotely analyze personal image content
- Sell user data to third parties
- Share personal photos with any third party
Your photos remain on your device at all times unless you explicitly choose to share them using your device's built-in sharing features.
3. Photo Deletion
Swipe2Clear only deletes photos after a direct action and explicit confirmation from the user. The app does not delete files automatically or in the background.
Users are solely responsible for reviewing files before confirming deletion. We strongly recommend maintaining backups of important photos using your device's backup service before using the app.
4. Data We Collect
Swipe2Clear does not intentionally collect personal information such as names, email addresses, phone numbers, personal photos, video content, biometric data, facial recognition data, or location data.
To maintain and improve app stability and performance, Swipe2Clear may collect limited, non-personal technical data, including anonymous crash reports, aggregated usage analytics, and device performance diagnostics.
5. Third-Party Services
Swipe2Clear may use trusted third-party tools to support analytics, crash reporting, and application performance monitoring. Services we may use include Google Play Services, Firebase Analytics, and Firebase Crashlytics.
6. Permissions
Swipe2Clear may request Photos and Media Access to display and manage images stored on your device, and Storage Access to delete or organize selected media files upon your explicit instruction.
All permissions are used strictly to provide app functionality. We never use permissions to collect, read, or transmit personal content.
7. Data Security
We apply reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect app functionality and user privacy. Because Swipe2Clear processes data entirely on-device, your photo content is never transmitted over the internet.
8. Children's Privacy
Swipe2Clear is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
9. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or applicable law. When we make changes, we will update the Effective Date at the top of this page.
